Corey Joseph Masklee is an NYC based performer who has had a life long passion for the performing arts. Corey began taking singing lessons at a very young age and was a participant in competitions such as Starpower, where he won first place in his age bracket for his performance of "Me and My Shadow." After taking a break from the spotlight to join a competitive youth swim team, Corey could hear the stage calling him back and he took a dive right back into his training with more vigor and passion and, to this day, has not stopped.

Corey began his dance career learning from the incredible Elaine Kudo and Buddy Balou. From these two extraordinary dancers and teachers, Corey practiced discipline, technique, style, and so much more. With their guidance, Corey was taught how to tell a story through his movement.

Corey continued his education at The New School in NYC where he completed his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. His passion and drive for growth brings him to dance classes throughout New York City in all different styles and disciplines. He also takes lessons with Holli Leggett and Mike Ruckles to keep his voice happy and healthy. 

​

His on going dedication to performing has granted him the opportunity to work on National and International tours as well as prestigious regional theaters such as The REV, Ogunquit Playhouse, Westchester Broadway Theatre, and more.
